Here you can be married barefoot on the sand, in a lavishly decorated church, have a simple chapel ceremony with close friends and family, or anything in between.

South Carolina Legal Requirements

In South Carolina, a marriage license is required before any marriage can be performed and may be obtained in any county in South Carolina. The Horry County offices hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4 pm and are located in North Myrtle Beach and Conway.

Myrtle Beach weddings There is no blood test or physical examination required, but there is a required 24-hour waiting period in this state.

You will need a drivers license, social security number, or birth certificate for identification, and you should apply one day, then the following day return to get your license. Both parties must be present to apply, but either the bride or groom may pick up the license.
